HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My name is Dan. I am 13 years old and I live in Regina
Saskatchewan. If you do not know where Saskatchewan is,
please look in your ATLAS. I would think that you should
have one. Anyways, I think that soccer is the best sport
in the world. I have been playing soccer for the past 8
years. I play in the city league here in Regina. My team
is named the Regina Nationals. I have already won the
provoncial championship here in Saskatchewan last indoor
season. I am now starting my outdoor season. We hope to
have a good chance to making it to the provincials this
year. We have two chances to make it. Once in early July
and once in September.

The 1998 WORLD CUP of SOCCER in France
|
The 1998 World Cup is almost among us. There are 32
countries that are going to participate in this years
World Cup. Of course, there will be defending champions
Brazil and the host country France. Another 30 countries
had to qualify to make it this year. Here are the 30
countries that qualified: South Africa, Germany, England,
Arabia, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cameroun,
Chili, Colombia, South Korea, Croatia, Denmark, Scotland,
Spain, U.S.A., Italy, Iran, Jamaica, Japan, Maroc, Mexico,
Nigeria, Norway, Paraguay, Romania, Tunisia and Yougoslavia.
All these countries had to make it threw all of the early
stages of the tournament to make it this far. Now the only
question is who will be this years champion

My World Cup Predictions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Since 32 countries have qualified, it will be hard to
figure out who this years champion will be. I think
that Brazil will win their title back again this year.
If Brazil can't make it to the final, I would like for
England or Brazil to win it this year. Here is a list
of all the previous World Cup winners. It also says
who lost, the year that it happened and the location.
1930 Uruguay 4 Argentina 2 Montevideo, Uruguay
1934 Italy 2 Czechoslovakia 1 Rome, Italy
1938 Italy 4 Hungary 2 Paris, France
1950 Uruguay 2 Brazil 1 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
1954 West Germany 3 Hungary 2 Bern, Switzerland
1958 Brazil 5 Sweden 2 Stockholm, Sweden
1962 Brazil 3 Czechoslovakia 1 Santiago, Chile
1966 England 4 West Germany 2 London, England
1970 Brazil 4 Italy 1 Mexico City, Mexico
1974 West Germany 2 Netherlands 1 Munich, Germany
1978 Argentina 3 Netherlands 1 Buenos Aires, Argentina
1982 Italy 3 West Germany 1 Madrid, Spain
1986 Argentina 3 West Germany 2 Mexico City, Mexico
1990 West Germany 1 Argentina 0 Rome, Italy
1994 Brazil 0* Italy 0 Pasadena, California
* Brazil won the game 3-2 in a penalty-kick shoot-out.
If you did't notice, there is a pyramid from the 1966
World Cup all the way to the 1994 World Cup. It starts
in 1966, England won that year. If continue, Brazil won
the next one. Then it was West Germany, then Argentina,
then Italy, then Argentina again, then West Germany and
Brazil again. If you follow this pyramid, England is the
country that will win this year. Then the next 2 World Cups
will be won by Brazil. And it continues like this etc.
